A first encounter with one of the few portions of the American territory I had yet to explore. Fascination was instantaneous. In the Old South, every object, every building, every site seem to have a story to tell. For all the shots, I worked within the self-imposed constraint of resorting to a single 85 mm lens, thus limiting the scope of vision and diverting it from its usual references.
