SYNOPSIS
Through mysterious phone calls, an otherwise lonely, dejected man, periodically acquires temporary creative powers... Until, one day, he has to face the sudden end of the redeeming voice’s poetic offerings.
STATEMENT
« Any healthy man can go without food for two days — but not without poetry. »
- Charles Baudelaire
In an era of globalization and instantaneity, the majority is led to react in the same way, to the same things, at the same time. What could or should bring inclusion intrinsically entails the opposite: prejudice and exclusion. A boundary somehow appears between the familiar, reassuring conformity and the exacting task of forging one’s own choices, opinions and values. Telepoetry examines the solitary condition of a being who has chosen — at any cost — to seek the uncompromised proximity of ideas and experiences that do not coincide with the prevailing, ubiquitous norm, and the ways in which he manages to quench a vital thirst.
